How to boost your confidence

Whether you need it in your job, or your personal life, or in both, Confidence is a very important accessory for us all to wear at all times. Being confined to working from home for a good chunk of 2020, and in some cases still working from home nowadays too, we thought of sharing this post with you today in order to give you some tips on how you can boost your own confidence in the simplest of ways.

So let's start:

1. Do not procrastinate: If you can do something today, don't leave it for tomorrow. You'll feel satisfied and greatly accomplished when you finish.

2. Take time for yourself every day: Read a book, take a long bath, go for a walk, listen to some music.....or simply do nothing at all. You deserve it!

3. Plan ahead: If you have a schedule you'll feel more confident and less overwhelmed.

4. Maintain a good posture: This will instantly give you a confidence boost. Go on, try it as of your next meeting!

5. Wear your best clothes: Ok maybe not your evening gown or your tux! But the point is to dress as if you are going to work in the office, even if you are going to sit at your home desk all day long.

6. Don't allow toxic people in: This tip goes both for work and for personal life. There is nothing more emotionally and mentally draining than toxicity. You need to surround yourself with positive and supportive people.

7. Dismiss negative thoughts: You don't need those in your life!

8. Be kind to everyone: This also includes yourself! Kindness is a sign of confidence, so do it every time you can.
